Deirdre Ann Smith, 53 of Decatur died Wednesday morning
Feb. 10, 2010 in St. Mary’s Hospital. Graveside service will
be 10:00 a.m. Saturday at Boiling Springs Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor's
choice.
Deirdre was born in Decatur in July of 1956 the daughter of
Harold Raymond and Wanda Eileen Canada Smith.
She is survived by her sister, Patricia Hassinger and
husband Larry of Decatur, brother, Peter K. Smith and wife
Catherine of Indianapolis, IN., brother, Terence H. Smith of
Decatur, many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brother,
Michael Gene Smith.
The family would like to thank the nurses and staff on the 7th
floor at St. Mary’s Hospital.
