James K. Kearns 1955 -2009
James K. Kearns, 54 of Independence, MO., formerly of Mt. Zion, Illinois.
died December 24, 2009 in Center Point Medical Center, Kansas City,
Missouri. Private Family Services will be held at a later date.
James was born in August of 1955 in Decatur, son of Jordan K. and
Marian S. Kearns. He graduated from Mt. Zion High School in the class
of 1973. He served 8 years in the U.S. Navy in Submarine service. He
worked as an Electronics Repair Tech.
Survived by his father and step-mother Jordan K and Lois Kearns of Mt.
Zion and brother Kevin H. Kearns of Decatur.
He was preceded in death by his mother and sister Mary Katherine
Lawson.
