Russell Glenn Santee, 50 of Antioch, IL., formerly of Decatur passed away
Sunday September 13, 2009. Memorial services will be held at Central
Christian Church, Decatur, IL., at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, September 26, 2009. If
desired memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or
to the First Tee Program.
Russ was born in September of 1958 in Allegan, MI., son of Charles Glenn
and Catherine Charlene (Hicks) Santee. He served in the U.S. Navy for eight
years. Russ was a member of the Mabel Masonic Lodge #255 of Macon, GA.
He worked as a maintenance supervisor for Ocean Spray. He loved to play
golf and was an avid bowler.
He is survived by his wife; Debbie Santee of Antioch, sister; Glenda Santee of
Kansas City, MO., father and mother in-law; Bob and Phyllis Logan of Decatur,
sisters and brothers in-law; Vicky & Scott Woolridge, Pam & Dean Larrick,
nieces; Allison and Shalon Woolridge, Shelby, Kaleigh, Mackenzie Larrick,
nephew; Trey Larrick, great niece; Madison Larrick many aunts, uncles and
cousins.
Russ was preceded in death by his parents.
He was a kind and gentle man and will be missed by all of his family and
friends.
