Cheryl Lynn Pride White, 49 of Decatur found peace in the arms of Jesus on
Thursday September 3, 2009 after a long and courageous battle with cancer.
Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, (Sept. 8th) at Hillside Bethel Tabernacle
Church, 3575 Greenhill Road Decatur., where she attended when her health
permitted. Funeral service for Cheryl will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday (Sept. 9th)
also at the church.  Pastor Don Horath will officiate. Her farewell ride on a
Harley will be with “Remembering the Ride” by Tanzyus-Logan Funeral Service
and Care. All riders are welcome to join the procession to the Cemetery in
Latham from the church on Wednesday morning. Casual attire is requested by
the family. Memorials may be made to her family to help with expenses.

Cheryl was born in February of1960 in Decatur, daughter of Randel and Linda
Pride Sr. She was a homemaker and a member of ABATE. Cheryl married Tim
White in 1976 and he preceded her in death in 2006.

Surviving her are her children; Amanda (Jason) Bodine, Tim (Esther) White,
mother; Linda Fombelle and her former husband Bob Fombelle, sisters; Julie
(Brad) Bolt, Laurie (John) Ellis, Lisa (Pat) Helphrey, Vicki Frye, brother; Randy
(Joy) Pride Jr., grandchildren; Landin Bodine, Naomi and Abigil White, special
friend and companion; Larry Temple several special nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, husband and grandparents.

The family wishes to thank Dr. Perdekamp and the Cancer Care Center, Dr.
Tim Bailey, DMH ICU, staff of 4600 especially Nurse Bob, Kathy at DMH
Hospice, the staff at McKinley Court and all the special friends and family who
cared for Cheryl. Special thanks to Pastor Don and the Hillside Bethel
Tabernacle Family.

Cheryl lived her life to the fullest and will live on in our hearts and our
memories.
