Tom Branson.  They were married in October 1944. In November of 1953, Alice
and Tom gave their hearts to Jesus Christ while listening to a radio broadcast.,
“The Haven of Rest”.  After Tom was called to the ministry, Alice was his

memory and could recite poems and ditties learned as a child, and entertained
her family by singing many old-time hymns around the house. She loved the
Lord, her family and her flowers.
She is survived by husband, Tom.  Alice and Tom raised three lovely
daughters:  Judi (Mike) Hunter of Georgetown, TX; Jennifer (David) Sheets of
Crescent City, CA; and Melanie (Antonio) Cantu of Decatur.  Sisters: Ruth (
Lloyd) Coate, Evelyn (Melvin) Hayes, Janet (Ronnie) Devore, all of Decatur;
Carolyn (George) Delp of Sun City West, AZ.  She leaves several beloved
grandchildren and a host of other relatives.
She was preceded by her parents, three sisters and two brothers.
